Summer Registration Open: Youth Promoting Peace Program (YP3)

Northern Children’s Services is excited to announce that registration is now open for our Youth Promoting Peace (YP3) Summer Program, running from July 7 through August 8, 2025.

YP3 is a powerful, community-rooted program designed for middle school, high school, and older youth (ages 11–24) in Philadelphia. Over five weeks, participants will explore leadership, careers, conflict resolution, and trauma-informed tools in a safe and supportive environment—all while building skills that prepare them for lifelong success.

Each age group meets once per week at our campus in Roxborough, with snacks provided at every session. Youth will participate in engaging, activities that help them grow as leaders, reduce their exposure to violence and trauma, and broaden their horizons.

Incentives for Participation

To recognize the commitment of our youth, stipends are available to participants who attend regularly (no more than one absence allowed):

  • Middle School: $150

  • High School: $300

  • Older Youth (18+): $500

Weekly Schedule

📍 Location: Northern Children’s Services, 5301 Ridge Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19128

  • Middle School (Ages 11–13): Tuesdays, 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM

  • High School (Ages 14–17): Wednesdays, 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM

  • Older Youth (Ages 18–24): Thursdays, 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
