January 16, 2014 – The Board of Trustees of Northern Children’s Services has announced that, after almost eight years of serving as the President and Chief Executive Officer, Tracey Lavallias has left this position and will be pursuing other opportunities. Mr. Lavallias will also be leaving his position as Vice Chair of Tabor Northern Community Partners.
The Board has retained a search firm to identify Mr. Lavallias’s replacement and separately, is working to identify an Interim President and CEO, while the search for a permanent replacement is being conducted. The Board will be in close communication with Northern’s senior staff members to help assure a smooth transition.
Northern Children’s Services is committed to its charitable mission of supporting the healthy development of children, while stabilizing their families to build stronger communities. The transition will in no way affect the children, families and communities that Northern Children’s Services serves.
