John Cappo, M.Ed.

John Cappo is IBHS Clinical and Administrative Director for Northern, bringing a wealth of experience to the position. Prior to this role, John served at Northern for four years as Director of School Therapeutic Services, leading a team of professionals to assist youth with behavioral difficulties in schools to remain in the educational environment. John believes family engagement and empowerment are vital to the success of children.

Prior to coming to Northern, John worked as an STS Director for 7 years before joining the Northern team. He also worked as a Behavior Specialist, Mobile Therapist, and Clinical Therapist since entering the field.

John holds a Master's Degree in Counseling and Human Services from Lehigh University.
